The giBS campus is a Wi-Fi campus with a futuristic IT infrastructure needed for the interactive learning and in imparting professional education. The computer lab and e-Learning centre of giBS are equipped with more than 100 nodes connected to a Server forest of three high end servers. All the nodes are high end Intel Pentium based PC with 512 MB RAM and CD/DVD writer. The campus is supported by 512 kbps bandwidth leased line for round the clock internet connectivity, accessed through a microwave tower installed in the campus. The labs are well equipped with relevant licensed software, scanners and LaserJet printers.
The E-Learning center, which is an integral part of an institute, provides a platform to the students to gather information, acquire competences, set goals and take actions. The center is well equipped with many software tools, which are required for the students’ development in all facets.
To keep up the pace with the innovations in the learning environment, the Video conferencing centre has been set up for real time information and idea sharing. Students are exposed to various new methodologies, techniques and processes through video conferencing there by exposing the global trends both in industry and researches in the academia.
