» The Prelude
Dawn of a new phase of life and yet another 150 students joined the giBS family, “The Prelude- An orientation program” was held on August 1, 2007.

The orientation program was started by seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha. An exquisite and impeccable Ganesha Vandana was performed by kids of Gitarattan Jindal Public School. It was followed by lighting of lamp by Mr. D.P.Nanda, Vice President, Moser Baer. His benign presence and his stimulating words was indeed a great motivational factor in boasting the student’s morale.

An orientation program is about providing students with an overview of the complete realm and facets of college life. A presentation was given by the respective program coordinators briefing students about the details of academic and co-academic activities. Followed it was a presentation given by the admin department to make the students aware of the nitty-gritty’s about the running of an institution.

A business game show was organized for the to-be managers and technocrats to make them at ease. The game show was magnificent as everyone got an opportunity to unwind their talent and to enjoy to the fullest.

An orientation was further extended for two days that comprises of introductory sessions, quizzes, Group discussion and Technical discussion with an objective to develop the faculty-student and student-student association and rapport.

All in all, the vision and mission of “The Prelude” was accomplished.
