CASE FOLIO
Case studies are an increasingly popular form of teaching and have an important role in developing skills and knowledge in students.

Educational research has shown case studies to be useful pedagogical tools. Grant (1997) outlines the benefits of using case studies as an interactive learning strategy, shifting the emphasis from teacher-centered to more student-centered activities.

To make the use of case studies a regular practice among the Management students, giBS organizes an annual event known as “CASE FOLIO”. The event gives a platform to the students of various colleges in India to build and prove their analytical, presentation, teamwork and time management skills.

The first National Case Study presentation competition was organized on November 18th, 2006. We received an overwhelming participation from A+ Business Schools in the country. The Case Study titled “Scorpio- Brand Positioning Decision” was contributed by Professor Abraham Koshy, Indian Institute of Management, Ahemdabad.

The ever-rolling trophy and cash prize of Rs 5000 /- was bagged by MDI, Gurgaon. First runner up was IIT Delhi and the second was USMS.
